The Lotus flower is my logo. This is the quintessential image of reinvention.
The pure white Lotus ﬂower is the only plant to fruit and ﬂower simultaneously.
It emerges from the depth of the muddy swamp and rises above the water with a stalk
that is easy to bend in two but almost impossible to break because of its many strong
sinuous ﬁbers.
At night, the ﬂower closes and sinks underwater and at dawn, it rises and opens again.
The Lotus is particularly special because of its ability to lie dormant in times of drought
and blossom when ideal conditions return to give it life.
Recent research found 1200-year-old seeds in China that have germinated and bloomed
when conditions were favorable.

Welcome Robin! I enjoy your awesome blog. Thank you for coming by. Absolutely, your life is meant to be enjoyed. I am very good about going to the bathroom and showering that does not mean that I should make a life out of that. You owe it to the planet to live at that high vibrational level of loving what you do and doing what you love!

This is beautiful. I love all the points you make here and some just blew me away. Like distinguishing between what we are GOOD AT and what we ENJOY. That is huge one that I’ve seen and dealt with much of my life. Very few people have understood me when I would tell them that just because I’m good at something does NOT mean I enjoy it. People will often go so far as to try and shame me by saying, “You should consider yourself blessed. And if you are good at it you should DO it.” WOW! I tell them there are no “shoulds” Life is meant to be enjoyed. LOL!!

I also love the question: What does freedom look like to you? Now that is a powerful question that really made me think. Thank you for such an excellent post.

Clearly one needs to examine current circumstances and lllk for ways and means to make long strides in self improvement and personal develepoment. MONEY IS IMPORTANT. The more you can aquire the more choices you will have to improve your life.
Having an abundance is power, with power come responsiblity. I salute Coach Iyabo, in that she is willing to help others. Commiting a lot of time and knowledge. Taking into considerating my age, and my abundance I am ready to reange my life to be able to help more people and enjoy the remaining years. God Bless you all.

I can so identify with this. After a change in all of my significant relationships, losing my husband in divorce, my mother in death, moving from all of my closest friends for a fresh start I feel as if I am being reborn. There is some uncomfortableness and at the same time there is excitement. I love the story of the Lotus and how it blooms daily emerging from the mud. Thank you for sharing this story on your blog. Having read your other blog posts, I know what a great story teller you are.
