Thanks for sharing that story. It’s interesting how situations can affect us on a subconscious level…

I developed a healthy relationship with money years ago after reading Suze Orman’s book, “The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom.” I realized I had developed a fear of not having money because that’s how I grew up. I was thrilled when I found this book because it taught me how to develop a loving relationship with my money and it changed my life.

These days, I have a healthy respect for money although some days, I do kind of feel like I’m in a relationship with an unrequited lover…lol…. That’s okay because for the most part, I have come to embrace the fact that I am a money magnet. Just working on attracting larger sums :>).

    Hi Iyabo -

I have just finished listening to your presentation on the MOCA telesummit hosted by Scott and had quite a few ‘a-ha’ and clarifying moments!! This is soooo timely as money and how I ‘relate’ to it has always been a struggle – and it has affected my life in so many ways – both in the money and non-money areas of my life, whether I was focused on it or not. Now with the setting up of my parent coaching business, there is no excuse, I HAVE to step up to the plate and change my money mindset…..and consciously remove the familial and society mores about money out of my head! I plan on spending part of tomorrow creating the money identity of my ideal client.

Thanks so much for your passion, honesty, humor, realness and knowledge. I will be keeping in touch.

    Warmly,

    Gigi
